Important Weight Guidelines for Tandem Skydiving

For everyone’s safety and optimal operation – a standard practice across all skydiving centers – we have specific weight requirements for tandem skydiving:

Male maximum weight: 240 lbs

Female maximum weight: 220 lbs

A Heavy Student Fee applies to anyone over 200 lbs. This non-negotiable fee goes directly to your instructor for the extra effort needed to ensure a safe and smooth landing.

Important Notes

• No Refunds for Exceeding Limits: If you’re over the maximum weight limit on the Skydive Houston scale on jump day, you won’t be able to jump, and we can’t offer a refund. Your safety is our top priority!
• Call Us if You’re Close: If you’re near the weight limits, please call or visit us beforehand. This way, we can confirm your eligibility and help you avoid any disappointment on your jump day.

Your weight will be measured on our commercial-grade scale, and that measurement is final. Please stick to these guidelines to guarantee a safe and truly enjoyable skydiving experience.
